Office fitout: 109 Burwood Rd

When Linear was engaged to transform the existing fitout at 109 Burwood Road, the opportunity was to look harder at what was already there. Our response maximises as much as possible, while injecting a fresh and contemporary overlay.

The existing layout was traditional and rigid. We completely reworked the floorplate, improving flexibility and increasing workstation capacity by 50 per cent. Existing elements were retained, repurposed and re-dressed wherever practical, with new furniture and finishes introduced to bring the space in line with modern workplace aesthetics.

The result is a workspace that feels genuinely fresh. Soft curves, playful colour, considered planting and warm furnishings sit where a rectilinear corporate office once stood. We’ve also integrated collaborative seating, informal booths and breakout spaces.

The design supports the full range of how modern teams work: open collaboration, informal catch-ups, focused work and formal meetings – all while ‘re-dressing’ it for a more progressive market.
