When LEK Consulting chose to relocate to the Rialto on Collins Street, they returned to Linear to lead the journey – a testament to the relationship we’d built over previous projects together.

The brief was clear: create a workspace that functions as a genuine destination. Somewhere LEK’s people want to come to – to connect, collaborate, and do their best work together. Also, to bring wellness considerations throughout.

The response was a design that draws from both commercial and hospitality sensibilities. Furniture and materials carry the warmth and tactility of a boutique hospitality environment. The colour palette takes its cues from the cityscape itself – soft pinks and warm golds that give way to olive greens and deep navy as the city shifts from day to night.

Spatial planning supports the full spectrum of how people work today – from focused individual tasks to side conversations, collaborative workshops, and client entertainment. Wellbeing is woven throughout: sit-to-stand desks, natural light, planting, and dedicated spaces for respite, prayer and parents.

Linear managed the entire process from workplace strategy and early contractor involvement (ECI) tender through to final handover – a single, accountable partner across every phase.
