Linear’s workplace design for Growthpoint Properties Australia at 101 Collins Street was conceived around a single, clear conviction: that people are at the heart of a thriving workplace.

The project responded to the business’s continued growth and a genuine desire to bring their team back together – not through obligation, but by creating a space worth coming to. The key drivers are community, choice and flexibility, underpinned by Growthpoint’s enduring one team philosophy.

The centrepiece of the design is a generous breakout space envisioned as a bar – vibrant, social and deliberately inviting. It’s the kind of space that earns its place on a Monday morning. Beyond it, the hybrid planning model places strong emphasis on collaborative settings and technology-enabled rooms, reflecting how Growthpoint’s team works best when they’re together.

At the heart of the concept is Growthpoint’s own business – property. Materials and finishes draw directly from the language of construction: Australian-sourced blockwork, brick, timber and locally made workstations and furniture feature throughout, grounding the design in authenticity and purpose. Sustainability and support for local suppliers were embedded in the brief from the outset.

The result is a workplace that reflects who Growthpoint are, what they value, and how they want their people to feel when they walk through the door.
